Mémoire de recherche
Master Langues, littératures et civilisations étrangères et régionalesParcours Études anglophones

Description

The research dissertation is crucial in so far as it is meant to show the student’s ability to conduct research and later continue with a PhD. It is equally important for students who do not wish to continue with a PhD thesis in so far as it clearly demonstrates a student’s initiative and ability to complete a personal research project by himself/herself.
Attention should be paid to methodology, bibliographical references, critical reading of seminal texts, originality of topic, quality of writing.

 TER / Mémoire, Coef.8, ECTS : 24
The thesis, written in English, is an original piece of work of at least 80 pages developing a critical argument on a chosen topic in all its complexity. It should be coherent in form as well as content, consisting in an introduction, a development in a series of chapters, a conclusion, a table of contents, a bibliography and a summary in French (2 pages).
The mémoire should be handed in by May 30th at the latest, earlier if possible.
