Blended Intensive Program : Advancing Accessibility in Digital Communication

Our faculty and the CAWEB Master programs are proud to present the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on Accessibility in Digital Communication, an initiative set to run from April to June 2025. This collaborative project brings together expertise from multiple university programs all over Europe, aiming to address challenges in digital accessibility and communication. This initiative is supported by Erasmus+.

Designed in alignment with the upcoming 2025 European Accessibility Act, the BIP provides a rich learning experience for academics and students eager to explore digital communication and accessibility.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend expert-led master classes and practical workshops, network with peers and professionals, and visit institutions such as ARTE and the European Parliament. The program includes an intensive five-day on-campus session from April 22nd to 26th, featuring a dedicated Usability Symposium on April 24th and 25th. Complementing these in-person activities, a six-week online component ensures all students can participate in a final project, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across borders.

Partnerships with eight universities enhance the program's scope, offering participants the chance to engage with diverse perspectives and cultural backgrounds:

  • Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Spain,
  • EASD - Escola d'Art i Superior de Disseny de València in Spain,
  • Adam Mickiewicz University de Poznań in Poland
  • Anhalt University of Applied Sciences de Köthen in Germany,
  • Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece,
  • Universitatea 'Politehnica' din Timisoara in Romania,
  • Universidade do Minho de Braga in Portugal, and
  • Louisiana Tech University in the USA.

This program is designed for students specializing in web communication, languages/localization, UX, and design, as well as students from related fields such as technical studies.
