The Book Club

Are you a bit of a bookworm? Do you want to share your literary opinions? How about practicing your English? Then join our English Book Club!

From magical circuses to afterlife libraries, and from the imaginary Babel to thrilling cult rituals, every month or so we come together to discover fictional worlds as we discuss English books of our choice. Organized by the teachers and students of the Department, our Book Club was created in 2022 and up to this date we have read a total of 11 books, with 2 more selected for the upcoming session in April! (see below)

We'd love to count YOU among us! There are no exams. There are no language requirements. Come when/if you can. Bring some friends with you. We'll be discussing in good spirits and in a safe space!

We have more projects underway, in partnership with "Strasbourg - Capitale Mondiale du Livre 2024" and the city's "LIRELANGE" project.

For more information, you can check our Moodle page by searching up "The Book Club."

Should you have any questions, email us: Alix Desnais (desnain[at]unistra.fr) and Arman Martirosyan (a.martirosyan[at]unistra.fr).
